How did you reach your current standard, what kind of practice do you have? =]

I just like playing
I don't really practise
I just play :l

Do you tend to play with bots?

I don't practise with bots anymore because I've got cable.

What was your opinion on Battletop-AU, I've heard alot of people complaining?

Battletop-AU was ok
We ended up getting more fps on the pcs so it wasn't too bad.

What's your personal opinion on Non-BYOC for a qualifying event such as BT-AU?

I think it is fair, everyone is playing on the same pcs, no-one has an advantage.

What did you bring along apart from your config, any secret weapons (Everglide, Razer)?

We were allowed to take our Mousepad, a mouse and mousedrivers.

What do you use in each case?

I used a cloth mousepad and an Intellimouse

Some people seem to use r_picmip 4 or higher, do find it gives advantage, if not, what do you use?

I use r_picmip 5, in someways it's an advantage but sometimes our opponent is too blurry and it's hard to see them. If it was possible to make the player model high detail then i think alot of players would be playing on picmip 5

What about resolution? Do you find lower resolutions are too blurry?

I use 640 x 480 at home, but if my pc was getting about 200 in timedemo I'd probably use 800 x 600

Do you think that Q3A is too machine dependent?

Yeah, in a way. From high end pcs to low end pcs
Low end = p2 400 these days

Do you think that new patch that includes the 125hz mod will benefit the pro gamers?

Nah, because pro gamers would already have high end pcs so it wouldn't make much of a difference.

What pc do you have?

Athlon 600 with 192 megs of ram and a geforce ddr.

Do you think believe that you pose a chance to the overseas competition such as cK and stx, from a TeamDM point of view?

Yeah we could, just that there aren't many competitions here.

Do you like travelling to LANs? Would you travel all the way to Perth if there was a really big comp?

Yeah I don't mind, I might end up going to QGL finals with FxR, depends on what prizes are there so it wouldn't be a waste of money.

When and what are your next tournaments?

The one in Korea, WCGC in October.
Nothing after that, maybe if I can get sponsored I can got overseas to play in other comps.

That'd be good... What about domestically though? Or isn't Australia in the position for such things

The next competition I know of in Australia is Fragzone in December but I'm trying to see if I can play in the US at Babbages CPL which is on at the same time Fragzone is.

Is FxR going to that for TeamDM (FragZone)?

I'm not sure if FxR will be going, depends if we can go to Babbages CPL (me lob and scoob) and if we do go, I'll doubt FxR will go to Fragzone because they'll stay home to watch us play :p

Where abouts is FxR located?

Sydney

So how big is FxR, numbers that is?

We have about 10 or so.
Scoob, Lobsta, Mode2, Zero, Quarrel, Jude, Macksta, Cake, Chops and myself.

So how often do the other members play, (Quarrel, Jude Macksta etc.)

Quarrel basically only plays RA3 now.
Jude makes maps and plays q2 with Chops (he plays q2 aswell)
and Macksta is our bitch :D

So it's more of a Quake clan, rather than Q3A dedicated?

We have a dedicated q3a team, but sometimes we play q2 and q1. Like Zero and Mode2 are playing alot of q1 right now.

So do you rank yourself as the best in the team? or no comment on that one?

I'd say Scoob would be the best team player and perhaps I'm the best dueler.

Do you think that Team DM will ever get going in Australia?

Nah not in Q3 :

Do you blame anything in particular for this?

Nah not really, just alot more games out there now, so alot of people are playing alot of different games, where as before when Q2 was out you'd only have Q2 or Unreal Tournament or Quake1.
